Rest alone rarely resolves burnout of this kind, because the patterns that drove you there remain intact. There is no fixed timeline. Some clients come for a focused period of six to twelve months. Others work with me for longer as the work evolves. We review how things are going regularly, and you are always in charge of when you're ready to end. I will never hold you in therapy longer than is useful to you, and I'll be honest with you if I think we've reached a natural stopping point.
